Our goal

We want every calculator to be usable by everyone, including people who use a keyboard, a screen reader, zoom or a small phone. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

What we do

  • Every input has a visible label that matches its field.
  • Results are announced to screen readers when they change.
  • Charts have a text summary and the full data as a table.
  • Pages work without horizontal scrolling on screens 320 pixels wide.
  • Every change is checked automatically with an accessibility testing tool before release.

Known limitations

Automatic tools do not catch every barrier. If something does not work for you, please tell us.
